Deleted about an hour after extraction
Your uploaded files and the output we produce are automatically deleted about an hour after your extraction finishes — on every plan, free or paid. We keep no backups, so once the window passes the files are gone for good and can't be recovered.
What we keep — and what we don't
We never keep the contents of your files. To run billing and protect the service from abuse we keep a small job record — things like the extraction type, file sizes, processing time, and credits used. IP addresses are stored only as irreversible hashes, never in the clear.
Why the window is short
Extract.FAST is a tool for pulling data out of files, not a place to store them. Keeping your files only as long as it takes to run the job and hand back the results is the simplest way to protect your privacy: data we don't hold can't be leaked, mined, or handed over. Download your results while the job is fresh.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you keep a backup of my files?
No. We keep no backups. When the retention window passes, both your uploads and the extracted output are permanently deleted and can't be recovered.
Does auto-delete apply on the free plan?
Yes. Files are deleted about an hour after your extraction finishes on every plan, free or paid — there's no setting that keeps them longer.
What do you still have after my files are deleted?
Only a small job record used for billing and abuse prevention — the extraction type, file sizes, processing time, and credits used. We never retain your file contents, and IP addresses are stored only as irreversible hashes.
