The service
Extract.FAST extracts text, images, metadata, and media from files you upload. It's part of the Tools.FAST network, which shares a single account and credit balance across its tools. By using Extract.FAST you agree to these terms.
Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One Tools.FAST account and credit balance works across the whole network.
Acceptable use
Only upload files you have the right to upload and process. Don't use Extract.FAST for unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt, overload, or probe the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your files
You keep all rights to your files and the extracted output. We claim no ownership and process your files solely to run your extraction, then delete them about an hour after the job finishes.
Credits and billing
The credit cost shown in your browser before you press Extract is the price you pay — no more, no less. Failed or canceled extractions are automatically refunded. See the pricing page for plans, limits, and credit details, and the refund and cancellation policies for billing terms.
Availability and maintenance
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally take the service down for maintenance or updates, and features may change over time.
Liability
Extract.FAST is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that can't be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law
