No. The map is generated only from GPS coordinates already stored in the photo metadata.
Photos with GPS metadata include gps/gps_exif_coordinates.jpg. Multi-file downloads with more than one GPS point also include a root-level gps_exif_coordinates.jpg aggregate map.
Per-photo CSV, JSON, GeoJSON, and map files are generated by Extract.FAST. For batch aggregate maps, Extract.FAST may send GPS coordinate values to Mapbox from our servers for the base map and temporary place labels. The request is not sent with your browser session or Extract.FAST account identity, and your photos, filenames, and ZIP contents are not sent to Mapbox.
