What kind of OCR does this use?
Fast AI OCR is built to find and read text in images. It runs on our servers and returns downloadable text when text is found. It does not use a chat model to interpret your document or recreate tables, forms, or layouts.
What happens if no text is found?
The task still completes. If no readable text is found, the ZIP includes the OCR JSON status file so you can tell the image was processed.
Can I extract metadata too?
Yes. The ZIP can include text, EXIF, GPS data, QR codes, barcodes, color palettes, frames, icons, and color profiles when those outputs exist.
